Technical Architect (Scala/AWS)3 months + (P/T 2.5days pw)Remote working with monthly visit to Newcastle siteInside IR35We are currently recruiting for a technical architect to work on a central government programme. The successful candidate will:Develop microservices using Scala with the Play Framework, deployed on a cloud-hosted (AWS) PaaS platformDesign and create and architectural design documentation including sequence diagrams, and API Specifications Documents.Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.Be comfortable architecting microservices using Scala with the Play Framework, deployed on a cloud-hosted (AWS) PaaS platformProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorshipCollaborate with solution architects to ensure alignment with customers patterns and standards.Collaborate with Solution architects to ensure alignment with the customers Enterprise Solution Design.Support in creation on non-functional requirementsActively participate in the customers craft communities, sharing best practices and thought leadership.If you would like to learn some more information, please contact a member of the team on the contact details provided
