OPERATIONS PROCESSOR (PARCEL SORTER) DHL Part time COPTHORNE AVTAV are proud to be working in cooperation with DHL a global logistics company proving courier, package delivery and express mail services Role - Operations Processor (parcel sorter) Location - COPTHORNE Shifts - Mon - Fri Hours -16.00-20.00 Pay between 08.00am -19.00pm: £11.65 per hour Pay between 19.00pm - 08.00am: £14.30per hour Pay Saturdays: Additional £1.15 per hour Pay Sundays: Additional £2.15 per hour Pay OT: £17ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Scanning and processing all incoming parcels Sorting parcels by hand Observing Health & Safety Rules and keeping warehouse clean Bagging and labelling parcels for deliveryREQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail Manual lifting of shipments is required Good communication skills - written and verbal The ability to demonstrate great team workPACKAGE Weekly pay every Friday Break room with full facilities, fridge/microwave etc Games room Great team atmosphere Career growth potential* SECURITY CHECKS * As this role is connected to a major UK airport applicants must be willing for Avtav to complete the following process on their behalf in line with Aviation Security Regulations. 5-year employment/unemployment history check UK criminal record check International criminal record check for periods over 6 months Relevant Aviation security training completed in house by Avtav (not cost to applicant) Job Type: Part-time Pay: £11.65 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
