From our offices in Central London, New York City and Boston, we produce high-quality research, deliver consulting projects, and create events for senior managers, technology executives and investors.
By joining our growing sales team as a Business Development Manager, you will enjoy a dynamic and commercially driven role doing just that. Responsible for selling Verdantix research, consulting and data driven solutions across an international client base. This is a growth opportunity, and you will be working with some of our existing research products, as well as our new data products. You’ll be part of a company that is committed to rewarding everyone’s efforts and expertise, a central player in the future success of a small growing business where you are listened to, and your contribution really counts.
For 15 years now Verdantix has been delivering high-quality research and advice to its clients on digitalisation, ESG and Sustainability and we are looking for the right person to continue to drive our new relationships with the market. Achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for market research subscriptions, consulting projects and event sponsorship
Building rapport with target technology and software firms and relationships with senior managers in corporate positions
Managing the end-to-end sales process from name development, prospecting, in person meetings, proposal writing and contracting
Forecasting bookings and undertaking detailed planning to achieve quarterly and annual bookings targets
Drafting high-quality proposals aligned with customer requirements
When possible, attending industry events and trade shows to network with potential new clients.
Degree educated with experience in a new business sales role
Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
Experience with Salesforce CRM desirable
Personal characteristics of tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, persuasiveness, and ability to close deals.
