Cyber Security Engineer (Contract)

Net Talent are delighted to be partnering with an ambitious Managed Security Service Provider established in Scotland with a growing global footprint. They are driven to help protect organisations against the rising threat of cyber-attacks in an ever-evolving digital world. The have become a known Microsoft Security Partner with NCSC status as well as several prestigious awards to their name. Due to ambitious growth plans for 2024 and beyond, they are looking to add an Onboarding Engineer on an initial 6-month contract to assist with getting clients tech stack ready to be onboarded to their MS Security platform. This can be a home-based role anywhere in the UK. This will require someone who knows IT Security and how it is implemented while being capable of recommending solutions to a varied client base. Take responsibility for the design, analysis, implementation, and support of cyber security technologies. Conduct research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions for both internal and external clients. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration of new solutions. Proactively analyse and recommend improvements to network, system, and application architectures. Support the review and update of cybersecurity policies, architectures, and standards. Windows knowledge and Networking experience Good Cloud Engineering experience, specific focus on Azure and knowledge of DevOps Linux and Jira Cloud experience
