Project Manager

I am reaching out to you as I have an exciting role come across my desk for a Project Manager based within Newport working for a local authority. This role will consist of leading and delivering a customer focussed service of all the major improvement, planned maintenance, adaptations, cyclical maintenance including compliance and neighbourhood spaces programmes.

You will be reporting into the Investment Delivery Manager

Role: Project Manager
Salary: 45,000
Location: Newport

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Manage, develop and lead the delivery of identified contracts and projects from inception to completion in line with corporate and business objectives and within budgets and agreed outputs
• To effectively engage and work with key stakeholders to deliver high quality, value for money outcomes and that time, cost and profitability targets are met or exceeded.
• To ensure the service delivers excellent surveying, management and procurement of contracts and projects.

Qualifications needed for the Project Manager:

• Knowledge of the construction industry with understanding of technical documentation.
• Industry based qualification - degree or similar, HNC, HND, and Health and Safety Qualification NEBOSH, IOSH, CSCS, STMS or similar.
• Experience with JCT, CDM 2015, H&S, quality and cost control
