Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client in the Blackwood area. Job Summary: Day to day repair, maintenance, cleaning, checking in and out of equipment to ensure it is in optimal and safe condition for rental to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities and Duties The below list outlines the Roles and Duties of the post however, this is not intended to be exhaustive and therefore wider roles as part of the role are included even if not specifically listed; Updating the MCS Asset Sheet so these can be filtered through onto the MCS system in updates Flagging to your Line Manager any shortfall in repair and consumable supplies for weekly ordering process Preparation and De-prep of assets for and off-rental including scanning in and out using the MCS platform and liaising with Warehouse and Rental Manager on any issues that may occur/shortfalls. This will include load and unloading stillages, labelling stillages, and using Pallet Stackers/Pallet Trucks as well as FLT's where required Reporting any identified damaged assets on off-hire of any considerable damage via email to the Rental Manager at the first opportunity so this can be reported and recharged to clients Loading and Unloading Client and Company Vehicles where required including use of FLT's Comply with Company Health and Safety, Training and SSOW Guidance From time to time, workload dependant you may be expected to assist with other roles in the depot or drive company vehicles (where trained to do so)Hours of work: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm 40 hours per week paid. Rate of Pay: £12.50-£13.50 dependant on experience. S08
