The opportunity: Valcon UK is seeking an experienced Culture and Capability Lead to join our growing Consulting Practice. This role is offered on an initial fixed term contract basis for six months, but the project is expected to run until early 2025. The successful applicant will have strong examples of developing and delivering capability and performance management interventions across large organisations. The role will be accountable for the investigation, development and delivery of capability and cultural interventions to support the overall goals and outcomes of a groupwide programme. Overview of Consulting Practice: Valcon provides consulting support to help clients protect and increase their margins, optimise their operational performance and improve productivity. We work closely with clients to map their vision, define the programme to achieve it and deliver the programme successfully, using a blend of Valcon’s consulting, data and technology expertise. From large-scale transformations to specific issues, Valcon can step in at any stage of the development journey. We adapt and flex our consulting, technology and data teams to provide direction, design and delivery to get the right results. Our Consulting Practice has 5 capabilities: Transformation Delivery Project Delivery Organisation Change Operational Excellence Technology Transformation We are looking for Consultants with the following experience: Responsible for leading the culture and capability workstream of a specific global program, overseeing its planning, execution, and successful implementation. Identify, engage and align stakeholders from across various levels of the organisation to foster a collaborative approach in planning and implementing changes. In collaboration with the project team design and deliver workshops that engage the business to foster ownership of solutions. Leading on the requirements gathering and solutions for culture and capability uplift. Curate the shop window of potential capability uplift interventions, working with the businesses to create a plan that works for them. Partner with internal stakeholders in the program, the business and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of effectiveness of solutions. Drive the transition of change within the business by recommending necessary adjustments to local performance management processes and practices to achieve desired outcomes. Develop and execute a tailored capability uplift plan for the program, ensuring stakeholders have a joined up view of progress, changes and milestones throughout the lifecycle. Proactively identify and address barriers to programme success, demonstrating problem-solving skills and escalation procedures to achieve desired outcomes. Monitor and evaluate program performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
