From beloved classics to globally-inspired dishes.Sous chef Responsibilities ;Support Head Chef: Assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food preparation and presentation in a high volume kitchenMenu Development: Help create and refine dishes, focusing on seasonal and innovative options.Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.Staff Leadership: Train and supervise juniorkitchen staff, fostering skill development and adherence to protocols.Oversee stock, control costs, and minimise waste for efficient kitchen operations. Ideal Sous Chef;Strong background in cooking with experience in high-volume kitchens and a passion for fresh, quality ingredients.Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team, maintaining high standards and a positive work environment.Enthusiasm for developing new dishes and contributing to menu design, with a flair for creative, seasonal cuisine.Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing and controlling costs, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
