We’re recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer to join a highly respected UK retailer known for delivering memorable moments—whether it's creating the perfect customer experience or launching campaigns that bring joy to millions, especially during a certain festive season. Salary: £57,600 - £92,400 Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours/week) Work Setup: Remote with 2 days onsite per month About the Role: As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building the cloud-native data platforms that power our clients much-loved brand. From delighting customers through seamless online shopping experiences to supporting critical business initiatives, you'll work at the heart of a team that values collaboration and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud-based data pipelines. Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that enhance the customer journey. Mentor fellow engineers, promoting a culture of learning and technical excellence. Ensure data security, performance, and scalability across all cloud platforms. Play a crucial role in driving the digital strategy that underpins our brand's continued success. What We’re Looking For: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), with a focus on data engineering. Advanced SQL and Python skills for building high-performance, reliable data solutions. Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and data orchestration tools. Familiarity with Agile and CI/CD methodologies. A team player with a passion for technology and delivering impactful results. Why Apply?
