Credit Controller (Xero Experience Essential) – Executive Search Firm£35-40k plus 20% bonusLondon – Hybrid (1-2 days per week in office) The Company My client are an established retained search, intelligence and advisory firm offering solutions to global organisations operating within energy and commodities markets. They are headquartered in London with offices globally across Europe, USA, South America and Asia.The role, reporting to the Group Finance Manager, will focus on managing and controlling the debtor book across the group and providing a clear and efficient credit control service.The day-to-day duties of the Credit Controller are varied and include managing the debts of creditors, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery.? Exciting Bits ?20% Bonus for all employees in the support function (personal targets)Opportunity to gain exposure to the wider finance teamDirect report into the Finance leader within the group25 days holiday and opportunity to buy a further 5 per year The Role As the Credit Controller, you will:Take a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtorsEnsuring timely payment of debtsFollowing up payments as neededNegotiating repayment plansResponding in a timely manner to high profile client queriesProcessing and reconciliation of invoicesChecking and posting of receipts to accounting systems What we are looking for Recent in depth experience using the Xero platform is essential for the roleExcellent organizing abilitiesGreat attention to detailGood with numbers and figures and an analytical acumenGood knowledge of Google Mail, Docs and Sheets or familiarity with similar programmesA can-do approach and attitude to driving down and maintaining debtor balancesAbility to work independently or as part of a team and take direction accuratelyPlease note that candidates without the prerequisite L&D experience (gained within the recruitment sector), will not be considered for the role.
