Site Manager / Working Manager

As the Site Manager you will be part of our Construction Team who are responsible for the repair and maintenance of all SPEN underground assets. Along with this we install new connections and network investment works. Responsibilities will include: Include the management and resourcing of Contracts to maximise the profit and minimise costs by:- Developing good working relationships and close liaison with clients, project team members and all interested parties Dealing with variations and valuations (submission and settlement) Managing health, safety, quality and environmental issues Managing human resources issues Ensuring operatives are suitably trained and competent by identifying needs and refresher training Handling customer issues to suitable resolution. Maintaining a standard of high-quality work. Controlling overtime and wages payments, Carrying out prevets ensuring a first-time cost-effective resolution on site Monitoring overall project/contract performance This list is not inclusive or exhaustive and other reasonable duties will be expected. Skills & Knowledge Requirements Technical civil construction knowledge under HAUC and NRSWA Awareness of SPEN Policies and procedures and distribution power engineering, including LV, HV upto and including 33kv distribution systems Commercial awareness Ability to work well under pressure
