Operations Manager

Operation Manager   Our client are currently looking for a Drainage Operations Manager to join their expanding team on a full-time basis. They are a combined plumbing & drainage company that specialise in the commercial sector based in the Brentwood, Essex area. Our client is looking for an experienced, passionate, driven & ambitious person looking for a long-term career in Drainage Operations and Account Management.   · Job Title: Drainage Operations Manager · Hours: Monday to Friday 08.00 till 17.00 · Salary: £50,000 - £60,000   Operation Manager Responsibilities: · Manage over 40 drainage engineers · Carry out reviews & disciplinaries · Interview for drainage engineers · Technical support · Assist engineers with problematic jobs (OOH from time to time) · Carry out site audits · Attend site on a ad hoc basis as and when required · Assist operations team with technical queries · Oversee and support help desk · Ensure KPI’s are hit · Meet with clients as and when required · Go on the OOH callout rota (additional pay)   Must be competent in the following · 5 years minimum drainage experience · Management skills · Excellent problem solving skills · Plumbing knowledge advantageous · Excavations and drain laying · Drain lining and patches · CCTV surveys · High pressure water jetting · Carrying out large jobs or overseeing · Training other engineers · Good knowledge in health & safety   This role is approximately 90% office based and 10% field base   Essential Requirements: · Good attitude · Team player · Proven track record in management within the drainage industry · Excellent communicator at all levels and functions of the business · Self-managed and motivated · Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy · Excellent written, oral and presentation skills are essential · Good level of PC literacy and Microsoft Office, especially in Excel · Maintain strict confidentiality · Excellent references   In return for your skills and experience, you will receive: · High earning · 20 days annual leave plus 8 days public holidays · Permanent full-time role · Small electric van · Phone & Laptop · Company pension scheme · Excellent career prospects   This is a full-time role.   Salary: per year £50,000.00 - £60,000.00 Benefits: · Company events · Company pension · On-site parking Schedule: · Monday to Friday Experience: · Drainage: 5 years (required) · Plumbing: 5 years (preferred)   · Driving Licence (required)
