A forward-thinking company who encourage continuous learning and career development, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for their employees.The role:We are currently seeking a Building Surveyor who will play a key role in the successful delivery of instructions and projects from a range of clients including commercial properties, offices, retail, industrial and housing providers.Key Responsibilities:Undertaking full Building Surveying Services – Survey and Report writing for the full range of typical Professional Building Surveying Services including TDD, Dilapidations, Building Surveys, BRCA’s and PPM’sCarrying out both Professional and Project based workLine management of staff to include coaching and motivating newly Chartered SurveyorsDelivering Project Work which can typically range from £50k to £5 million where you will perform the role of Designer, Contract Administrator, Project Manager or an Employers AgentResponsible for managing and growing Key Client AccountsContribute towards theTraining Academy to include supporting, mentoring, training and guiding junior members of staff through their journeyWhat we are looking for:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (min 2.1 or equivalent) in Building Surveying / Quantity SurveyingRICS Accredited or studyingProject Management Qualified (APM affiliation / Prince 2)Good pre and post contract experienceDemonstrable knowledge in winning new work, growing client relationships and developing business opportunities with clients including landlords, investors and developersExperience of managing a team Knowledge of JCT contracts and experience of acting in the capacity of Contract Administrator or Employer’s AgentWilling to travel across the UK as needed to meet Client requirements and pursue opportunitiesProactive and team player.What We Offer:Competitive salary up to £55k with a benefits package to include car allowance, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and bonusExposure to a wide range of exciting projects across various sectorsA supportive and collaborative working environmentHow to Apply:If you are a skilled Building Surveyor with a passion for building surveying and some experience in dilapidations, we would love to hear from you.
