Technical Program ManagerType: Contract (6 to 9 months)Location: Winnersh, Reading, United Kingdom (Hybrid 1-2 days a week in office)Are you a skilled Technical Program Manager with experience in payroll and accounting systems implementation? We’re looking for someone to lead a large-scale system rollout, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of business-critical solutions for the UK market. The ideal candidate should have experience in business system process implementation, be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, and possess strong knowledge of payroll systems, UK payroll regulations, and integration practices.Key Responsibilities:Program Management: Lead end-to-end implementation of payroll and accounting systems. Define project scope, manage timelines, resources, and ensure adherence to the program roadmap.Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary liaison between technical teams, business units, and external vendors. Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to all stakeholders.Technical Leadership: Oversee configuration, customization, deployment, and integration of payroll and accounting software systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Team Collaboration: Facilitate communication between development, HR, finance, and other cross-functional teams. Drive coordination between UK and US stakeholders.Business Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize payroll and accounting processes for efficiency and compliance.Compliance & Security: Ensure systems meet UK regulations, including HMRC requirements, data privacy laws, and other industry-specific compliance standards.Qualifications:Experience: 5-7 years as a Technical Program Manager, preferably with experience in payroll and accounting system implementations. Familiarity with UK payroll processes and regulations is required.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of payroll systems, accounting tools, and business system integration. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Qualifications:Project management certifications (PMP, Scrum Master).Experience in the entertainment industry or production environment is a plus.The day rate for this role will depend on experience.
