Electrician

Our client, who is a growing electrical & renewable company based in Colchester is looking for a qualified electrician with experience of working in the solar industry.

• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Shifts: 9 hours per day
• Location: Colchester
• Salary: 35K - 40k depending on experience
• Benefits: company van, pension, 28 days holiday leave

Responsibilities and Duties

• To carry out electrical works to a high standard, be able to problem solve and fault find and have good customer relation skills.

Job Summary:

• To carry out electrical installation, maintenance and inspection & testing in commercial and domestic properties.
• To carry out a broad spectrum of work including domestic and commercial electrical installation & testing.
• Installations of solar PV and battery storage

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience of working in the solar industry
• Full driving licence
• 1 and 2 City & Guilds, or equivalent 18th Edition wiring Regulations
• Inspection and testing Qualification would be an advantage but not essential
• ECS card
