SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Primary Teacher - KS1/Lower KS2 in Streatham, South London About the Role: Career Teachers are seeking an experienced and qualified Primary SEND Teacher for a fantastic primary school in Streatham, South London! We are seeking candidates with prior experience working with SEND children, and you will be working with children in KS1/Lower KS2 in small groups. This is a full-time role, beginning ASAP. Key Responsibilities: As a SEND Primary Teacher, you will: Teach all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Science, and Art. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons tailored to Primary students. Create a safe and motivating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development. Implement behaviour expectations and manage classroom discipline effectively. Assess assignments and tests to track student performance and identify areas for improvement. Communicate effectively with parents and school leaders to support student learning and well-being.Qualifications and Experience: We are looking for passionate Primary Teachers with: An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS. Previous in-school teaching experience, especially with SEND children (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). Fluency in English, both spoken and written. The right to work in the UK. Expertise in teaching methods and effective communication skills.Salary: Earn between £135-£240 per day as a primary supply teacher, depending on experience, or be paid to National Scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term or permanent placements.
