Technical Controls Consultant (DORA Compliance) – Global Financial Services Firm
Robert Half is supporting their client, a leading consultancy, in their search for a Technical Controls Consultant with financial services experience. The role will support the D&A Engineering team in conducting a technical controls gap assessment across multiple business areas, including Risk Intelligence, ensuring full regulatory compliance under DORA.
Contract Assignment Details:
- Location: London (Hybrid Working – 1 day per week)
- Duration: Initial 6 months (with potential extension)
- Day Rate: £700 via PAYE (employer's NI & tax deducted at source – no umbrella company fees)
- Start Date: w/c 14th October subject to onboarding
Key Responsibilities: The Technical Controls Consultant will work alongside the D&A Engineering team to assess and validate technical control gaps across Risk Intelligence and D&A. Key responsibilities include:
- Technical Gap Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive technical controls gap assessment across Risk Intelligence.
- Validation of Existing Analysis: Validate the prior technical controls gap assessment for D&A conducted by a third-party provider to ensure completeness.
- Regulatory Traceability: Ensure that technical controls across all areas can be traced back to the regulatory traceability matrix to demonstrate compliance under DORA.
- Cross-Referencing with Client Standards: Cross-reference required controls against relevant client standards and frameworks.
- Remediation Roadmap: Develop a remediation roadmap to address any gaps identified in the assessments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with DORA compliance within the financial services sector.
- Expertise in technical controls assessments and gap analysis.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks and traceability matrices.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly in a technical/engineering capacity.
- Proven track record of developing remediation roadmaps.
