Test Engineer

An opportunity for an Test Engineer to be Assistant Team lead within the Test Deperatment at a Global Engineering Company.

Located 45 mins away from Birmingham city center - you'll be reporting into the Test team leader, carrying out functional and system testing on all equipment.

• Ensure a safe and legally compliant working enviroment
• Test Electronic and Electrical equipment
• Ahere to HV switching safety standards and requirments
• Maintain to quality standards throughout all test/sensor department activities
• Keep stakeholders informed of relevent issues and progress

Qualifications/skills required

• Knowledge of Health and safety requirments and legislation
• Knowledge of ISO9001: 2015 Quality management Systems
• Knowledge of ISO 14001: 2015 Enviromental Management
• Knowledge of 5s continuous improvement
• 7W waste elimination process
• ESD awareness
• HNC in Electrical and Electronic technology
• IPC 620 qualifiaction
• knowlege of ERP system IFS is beneficial
• IPC 610
• Driving licence is required - ability to travel to alternative UK location and occasionally abroad
• flexbility to work overtime
