The EU Amazon Customer Excellence System team (ACES) is seeking anenthusiastic, data-driven and technology-minded Process Owners to contributeto the improvement, growth and fast paced changes of the EU Operationsnetwork. The EU ACES PSE (Process and Systems Engineering) is a team of Process Ownerswith the mission to support Fulfillment Center (FC) process improvement onbehalf of Amazon customers. Our team owns the responsibility of orchestratingthe technology project execution, communication, troubleshooting and changemanagement between Amazon Fulfillment Technology team and Fulfillment CenterOperations. We own the virtual process setup, software and equipmentstandardization and design & rollout of software projects. We provide an end-to-end support and definition for new FC launches and ad-hoc FC processsupport. Our vision together with Amazon Fulfillment Technology team is todevelop FC system tools that provide quick and reliable service to ourcustomers and support defect free FC processing to provide the best customerexperience. Successful candidate will work in partnership with existing Process owners andworldwide Subject Matter Experts (SME) network towards design, development andtactical execution of project improvement plan and new product developmentplans. Key job responsibilities Be the SME in the network evidenced as being the ‘go to’ process owner for themost complex operational problems of their processes and significantlyinfluencing and driving the technical vision and roadmap to advancefulfillment center products and services Key influencer in contributing to strategic goals, roadmap and plans for yourprocess area including idea scoping, business analysis, prioritization, androbust planning. By writing compelling business proposals for a diverseaudience (Technology leaders, business leaders and operational leaders). End to end project management of multiple project simultaneously, with a timecritical delivery. Deliver savings according to the established target and create financialmodels together with finance partners to control and report on thedeliverables. Drive mindful discussions with numerous cross-functional business andtechnology teams through ideation, planning and execution including AFT(Amazon Fulfillment Technology), FC Launch, Supply Chain, and EU fulfillmentcenter leaders. Create standards for your process and create training material incollaboration with the Learning & Development team, to secure high level ofknowledge within the FC operations. Work closely with the extended EU ACES teams, to define the physical process,process metrics and training material to create and audit the highest processstandards. Build a network with WW teams to share knowledge and identify and implementbest practice across the region network A day in the life As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will often deal with great deal ofambiguity related to business critical problems. Your role is to find theright path forward, identify a short term fix while working towards the longterm std solution. You will also require to demonstrate certain level offlexibility, and take an extra mile to support solving critical problems atshort notice. Leveraging on your subject matter knowledge, you will seek toidentify revolutionary changes with your business partners in and outside ofyour organization. About the team Amazon Customer Excellence Systems (ACES) team plays a critical role inorchestrating cross functional technology and continuous improvement projectsfrom scoping and design through to test and rollout of final solutions. Teamplays a vital role in integration and communication between Amazon Technologyteams and Fulfillment Centre (FC) Operations. Our goal is to design autonomous and automated systems to remove complexdecision-making with simple solutions and to facilitate operational control ofend to end fulfillment execution. ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Completed Bachelor Degree (Math, Engineering, Science, Business) • Large scale, Cross-functional project management experience. • Thorough understanding of all aspects of Lean Six Sigma (define, measure,analyse, improve, and control (DMAIC and DMADV DFSS) models. • Proficient in training & coaching Lean Six Sigma principles. • Demonstrable problem-solving, mathematic, and analytical skills using datato drive decisions in a business environment. • Experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Microsoft Access ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Advanced degree Master’s Degree (Math, Engineering, Science, Business) • Lean six sigma Black Belt ( Master black Belt preferred) Certified. • Demonstrable experience of hands on Continuous improvement andLean_six_sigma coaching experience. • Extensive experience of training and coaching teams on lean six sigma andother process excellence toolsmethodologies. • Experience driving process excellence and continuous improvement culture ina large organisation. • Strong Processbenchmark auditing and non-compliance management experience. • Experience with modern machine learning: deep learning, onlinereinforcementlearning, semi-supervised and transfer learning. • Evidence of experience of working with technology and software teams toalign requirements and drive solution development.
