Working Foreman

CSCS SSSTS or SMSTS Working Foreman from a carpentry background required on a prestigious residential renovation construction site project. This site has 2 months left, on-going work on site will follow this contract.

Job Description:

• Oversee the refurbishment of 2 commercial units as part of a prestigious project.
• Key responsibilities include:
  • Conducting site inductions for workers.
  • Reviewing and approving Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Setting up the site for daily work activities.
  • Performing general health & safety checks and managing associated paperwork.
  • Inspecting subcontractors work to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Ordering materials in advance to meet project timelines.
  • Carrying out carpentry work as needed.
  • Coordinating and liaising with various on-site trades.

Requirements:

• CSCS Card: Essential.
• SSSTS or SMSTS Certification: Required.
• Proven Carpentry background is necessary.
• Experience in commercial refurbishment projects is advantageous.

You will be directly employed CIS self employed by Barrett Contract Services Ltd with no umbrella companies involved.
