Job Opportunity: Building Surveyor Position: Building Surveyor (Associate/Senior Associate Level) Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience) Location: Barnet, with flexible remote work (2 days from home) Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday About the Company Intrepid Global is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, multidisciplinary consultancy based in London, which specializes in architecture, engineering, surveying, and project management. This firm works closely with public sector bodies, developers, and private property owners, offering client-centered solutions for a variety of building types, including residential, commercial, and historic properties. With a strong focus on sustainability, compliance, and quality, they are engaged in major projects for Local Authorities and have a busy pipeline of upcoming work. Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Surveyor to independently oversee a range of projects from initial planning through to completion, maintaining the highest standards and ensuring client satisfaction. This position is ideal for an Associate or Senior Associate level Building Surveyor looking to work within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities * Manage building projects independently, overseeing all phases from inception to final handover. * Conduct site inspections and assessments, ensuring compliance with building regulations and standards. * Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders. * Collaborate with contractors, clients, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project delivery. * Oversee budget management and project schedules to meet timelines and quality expectations. Candidate Requirements * Degree in Building Surveying or a related field. * Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is advantageous but not essential. * Proven experience managing building projects within a multidisciplinary environment. * Strong understanding of building regulations and health & safety standards. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. * Proficiency in relevant surveying software and project management tools.
