Commissioning Engineer

Job Role: Commissioning Engineer Job Type: Perm/Full Time Salary: Dependent on skills and experience Location: Projects across UK A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commissioning Engineer to join our specialist and experienced Building Services company providing to the Energy, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical Industry with a unique service. We provide a unique service from concept, advising and partnering with our clients to ensure the correct mechanical and electrical solution bespoke to their needs. The Role: Working in cooperation with multiple projects you will be responsible for the commissioning of our equipment, installations, and the supervision of mechanical installation in customers’ sites. You will be the ambassador of our brand, as you will be the last technician remaining on the site during acceptance tests and sign off at our customers’ sites. Main Duties * Commission systems so that its mechanical, electrical, software and process functions perform to the contract specification * Modify and fault-find * Ensure customer satisfaction by being resourceful on site * When required, supervise other engineers on site either employed or contracted by PIMS or by the customer * Be aware of and demonstrate the company values and behaviours * Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures including feeding back any Health and Safety information to management * Support Technical and Customer Services in the office and on site * Participate in continuous improvement, helping R&D, Manufacturing, Customer Services, Drawing Office Candidate Profile * Experience of installing and commissioning * Knowledge of fault-finding * Good mechanical and electrical skills: hands-on profile * Customer focus with excellent communication skills and a successful track record of developing customer relationships * Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure * Ability to work alone but still be part of a team
