The Opportunity
Given recent and forecasted project growth, our client’s expanding team is currently seeking to employ an experienced Maintenance Technician to work collaboratively to help promote the development of all safety rules and regulations.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work on exciting and challenging topics together with a team in an ultra-modern, innovative and creative environment. You will receive Intensive on-the-job training with expert colleagues guarantees you will quickly become familiar with your duties and perform them independently. Your duties and responsibilities will be
Participate actively in department/plant safety programs. Promote safety rules and regulations.
Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root cause of failure, and recommend appropriate solutions to reduce reoccurrence of/or eliminate cause of failure.
Recommend and specify alterations and revisions to improve equipment requirement and/or system reliability/capacity.
Complete the PM allocation of all electrical program’s on site, to the company standards, and all relevant HSE standards, ATEX Standards and power and distribution systems.
Provide hands on support as required to resolve maintenance-related field problems as they occur.
Keep abreast of and evaluate new methodologies, work practices, equipment, instrumentation, controls, technology, etc., for application and use within the plant.
Participate in the planning and execution of minor and major shutdowns. Provide technical and hands on support as required during shutdowns.
Maintain an error free execution. Pay very close attention to details and executes work to the highest possible standard.
Apply a “Continuous Improvement” philosophy to daily work.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Two (2) years minimum Electrical experience – preferred in ATEX Zone
High school educated
Time serviced Maintenance Electrician
Loop drawing and line diagrams, good electrical technical abilities
Experienced in the troubleshooting and repair of all manner of equipment
Completed Apprenticeship / HNC / HND - Equivalent.Get in touch now
