Job Title: UK Sales Manager – Liquid Cooling Solutions for Data Centers Location: United Kingdom (Remote-based with 50% travel across Europe) Overview: As an exclusive recruitment partner for a fast-growing, scale-up company specializing in liquid cooling solutions for data centers, we are actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven UK Sales Manager. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced sales professional to join a cutting-edge technology firm that is revolutionizing energy efficiency within the data center industry. Our client is leading the way in reducing power consumption and enhancing operational sustainability. If you have a strong network in colocation and enterprise data centers, and are looking to be a key player in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Drive the UK market’s growth by developing and executing a targeted sales strategy, promoting our client’s innovative liquid cooling solutions to key data center clients. Relationship Management: Build and nurture strategic relationships with colocation and enterprise data centers, leveraging your established network to drive business success. Client Engagement: Prospect, pitch, and close deals with new customers, with a particular focus on colocation and enterprise data centers. European Travel: Travel across Europe (approximately 50% of the time) to meet clients, attend trade shows, and participate in key business development activities. Market Insight: Provide valuable insights into the data center market, monitoring industry trends and feeding these insights back to product development and marketing teams. Sales Pipeline: Manage and expand the sales pipeline, delivering consistent results and meeting ambitious growth targets. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Reporting: Report on sales performance, opportunities, and market insights to senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals. Candidate Profile: Experience: Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the data center, IT infrastructure, or cooling solutions sectors. Network: Existing relationships and a strong network within colocation and enterprise data centers are crucial. Industry Expertise: Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, with specific knowledge of cooling technologies (liquid cooling experience is an advantage). Travel: Willingness to travel across Europe for client meetings and events (50% of the role). Sales Record: Proven success in driving sales and exceeding targets, particularly in a high-growth environment. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-Starter: A self-motivated individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced scale-up environment. Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product development teams.
