In an environment that is constantly evolving, we will set the foundation for you to grow and chart a career path that is as unique as you are.  Working within the technical communications (Training and Support) team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering product training to a diverse audience ranging from installation engineers to end-users. They will be responsible for organizing all aspects of the training delivery process, including liaising directly with the customer to establish their needs and amending the course content to meet their requirements, arranging travel and accommodation, shipping training equipment and providing evaluative feedback on courses. This role will also involve training remotely by leading webinar style training sessions and by developing online learning resources for our new eLearning platform.  The successful candidate should be confident in their ability to deliver both in-person and remote training sessions to the highest standard. HOW YOU WILL DO IT Developing classroom Based Technical Training Materials Overview, Trainer Notes, PowerPoint & student workbooks Developing eLearning content and managing an LMS  Delivering product training to audiences throughout the UK and internationally Liaising with the sales team and customers to organise training courses Preparing/shipping course material and equipment to the training sites Evaluating the effectiveness of training courses and feeding it back into the training development cycle Maintaining training equipment and facilities Working as part of a customer support team in supporting Johnson Controls customers worldwide. Providing high-level technical advice to our global customers WHAT WE LOOK FOR ESSENTIAL Ability to work in the office three days per week Authorization to work in the UK Experience in delivering classroom-based technical product training on hardware or software applications Experience in creating and developing structured classroom-based training content Proficiency with graphic packages (such as MS Visio & Adobe Illustrator) Experience in creating and developing e-learning content. Proficiency with video capture software (such as Camtasia) and content authoring tools (Articulate 360’s Rise and Storyline) Understanding of the full training development cycle Strong technical background Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously The ability to make sound technical judgments based on knowledge and experience Self-motivated to manage your own time independently and must be able to work as part of a team Experience of a collaborative approach to work DESIRABLE Knowledge of how to maintain an eLearning catalog and LMS (Moodle Workplace or similar) Certificate in Training Practice or equivalent professional qualification. Experience working with international customers Knowledge of electronic security products and security industry QUALIFICATIONS/DESIRED MAJOR BSc Honors Degree Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business/IT OR a combination of education and IT work related experience. #LI-Hybrid #GOSIA
