Job title - F&B Administrator / Co-ordinator

Location - Birmingham City Centre

Salary - £30,000 per annum


Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday ( Office based opportunity to work from home on a Monday or Friday once onboarded)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client the NEC Group for a F&B Catering Co-Ordinator. Based at the ICC in the heart of Birmingham this is a really integral role in a very busy supply chain of delivering outstanding experiences for thousands of visitors each year. Working across conferences, events and exhibitions ensuring that the food and beverages element is spot on. You need to be a very strong co-ordinator with a high level of attention to detail and customer service.


Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced co-ordinator to join our Conventions Catering Team to provide administration and account management support. Conventions food and beverage (F&B) is a fast paced and exciting part of the business.


Day to day you will co-ordinate information, work across multiple data bases, account manage small events and your own clients, own menu packs and price lists, and undertake general administration duties.


You’ll support the team with inhouse catering systems and co-ordinate F&B information to ensure that all event requirements are shared. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing customer feedback and providing accurate financial information to the finance teams. This role is key to the smooth running of our fantastic F&B team and no two days will be the same!


The successful candidate will:

  • Have co-ordination experience in a fast paced and commercial office environment, using varying types of business software and systems
  • Be able to manage multiple priorities and manage their own time and workload
  • Have a keen eye for detail whilst focus on delivering results
  • Have some commercial understanding
  • Be able to review and summarise information
  • Be flexible in approach to work


This is a really exciting position for a seasoned administrator/co-ordinator that wants to work in the exciting and fast paced events environment.
