About the Company - My client is a dynamic and innovative specialty insurer and reinsurer. They are looking for a Lloyd's Market Data Product Manager to join their team. This role is high profile, interacting with all senior stakeholders and c-suite, and needs someone with strong process improvement experience! About the Role - Ensure delivery of data value to stakeholders. Work with stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize business requirements. Share data team capabilities and tools with stakeholders to improve processes and decision-making. Document requirements, business outcomes, data flows, and data using identified tools and techniques. Ensure the business value of requirements is understood by the team. Communicate timelines, expected outcomes, and provide transparency to stakeholders. Embed Service Excellence principles in data contracts. Communicate outcomes and successes with the wider team. Stay aware of technology stack, data architecture, and data culture principles to represent the data team effectively. Become an expert in specific datasets within the domain and support reporting requirements. Engage various functions within the Data team to deliver business outcomes and strategic goals. Responsibilities Managing 4-6 non-permanent team members. Identifying and implementing improvements to our processes and ways of working. Promoting team values and developing open, transparent relationships across data teams. Supporting and developing junior team members. Onboarding new team members. Required Skills Passion for using data and technology to drive decision-making. Tenacios, numerate, and detail-focused. Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably London Market. Ability to communicate and work with stakeholders across functions, understanding business requirements, and helping them utilize data tools and capabilities. Problem-solving and root cause identification skills. Effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them updated on scope, timelines, and outcomes. Ability to balance multiple requirements and prioritize based on value delivered. Experience in capturing, defining, and specifying data mapping and transformation rules. Thrive in a scaled agile environment involving cross-functional execution teams. Coordinate requirements and outcomes across multiple functions within the Data team, especially Data Architecture and Data Engineering. Good knowledge of SQL, with knowledge of data modeling concepts and data management techniques being advantageous. Skills in implementing reports/analytics are desirable. Knowledge of AWS and Snowflake is desirable.
