In our Du Pont (U.K.) Industrial Limited, site, Maydown, Derry / Londonderry, we manufacture the globally recognised Kevlar yarn. We are seeking new talent to join our Maintenance Technician team. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing world class engineering support to the manufacturing operation. Your role is to optimise production performance and quality and minimise plant downtime through effective preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs. Key Responsibilities: Execute daily preventative & planned maintenance on manufacturing and utility equipment Ensure equipment performance is optimised Partner with internal and contracted engineering personnel in problem-solving and installing/commissioning equipment Lead and support continuous improvement projects Lead trouble-shooting & repair faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Essential Criteria: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering or NVQ Level 3 Engineered Systems or equivalent qualification A minimum of two years relevant maintenance technician experience post attainment of above NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a manufacturing environment To apply for this opportunity, please forward your CV detailing clearly how you meet the shortlisting criteria by clicking apply below.
