Stock Controller

Do you have previous experience working as a Stock Controller or Stores Person from a manufacturing or engineering environment or similar? Are you looking for a new role in Oxford either temp to perm or on a permanent basis? We are recruiting for a Stock Controller to work a 37.5-hour week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4pm and Fridays 7.30am - 1pm. The Stock Controller will: To receive and inspect goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages Inspection again specification and engineering drawings Notify relevant staff of any shortages, damage or non-conformance Assist when required with the physical movement of stock from the Goods-in area to the stores area and putting away stock Timely issue and kitting of materials to production in line with production schedules The continuous audit of all stock by periodic cycle counting Responsible for the storage, control and movement of raw material stock Loading/unloading trucks and moving stock Packing of customer orders ready for dispatch and completion all packing slips etc.The Stock Controller will have : Previous experience from a similar role Experience using MRP Systems Excellent time management skills Strong communication skills Manufacturing or assembly or similar background Proficient IT skills Benefits include: Pension, 25 days holiday, Birthday holiday, Pension, Health Insurance, flexible hours and much more!
