The Digital team has important role to play in achieving that. We are developing great customer-focused digital products that engage customers and their communities, inspire colleagues and drive business efficiency. About the role This is a technical leadership role. As a senior member of the Digital team. you'll be responsible for leading and carrying out the technical development of our online customer services platform. Using Ruby on Rails and associated technologies, you'll lead the development of our online customer services platform. You'll be responsible for the technical design of new features the team work on, considering the existing system architecture as well as the planned and potential changes to it. You'll lead, manage and mentor a team of Ruby on Rails developers. Implement process improvements to support your team with writing high quality software and delivering consistently excellent work. You?ll be a lead voice for the team, helping the wider organisation understand how digital work fits in with the MTVH?s strategic goals. What you'll need to succeed You ? You are confident providing technical leadership, management and mentorship Technically competent as a Ruby on Rails Developer with a minimum of 4+ years? experience Experienced with multiple technology stacks, including at least two programming languages You are effective and comfortable creating and owning technical designs and software architecture You can drive continuous change and improvement within your discipline and following best practice standards for development, security and accessibility You can communicate effectively to audiences with technical and non-technical backgrounds and expertise What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, please take a look at the attached Job Description for more details.
