To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience. Assist clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, eating, and medication as outlined in care plans. Monitor service user progress, identify triggers for challenging behavior, and update managers on changes. Provide emotional support to clients, raising significant concerns to the manager. Contribute to planning daily activities and ensuring they promote service users' well-being. Administer and record medication, including specific personal care tasks, following council policies. Maintain accurate and updated records, ensuring compliance with information security protocols.
