Quantity Surveyor/Estimator – Fit Out Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire (Office based role with occasional site visit) Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance, Holidays, Pension, and Performance-Based Bonus About: My client is a leading hospitality and leisure fit-out company specialising in fast-track project. With project values ranging from £100,000 to £1 million, they deliver quality fit-outs on tight timelines, enhancing the UK's dining and entertainment spaces. We are looking for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the team and help drive their projects to success. Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, you will be responsible for managing tenders and delivering accurate cost estimates for the fast-track pub and restaurant fit-outs. Working closely with the project team, you will ensure that projects are commercially viable and delivered on budget. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong commercial acumen and a "can-do" attitude, will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: * Preparing and submitting competitive tenders for hospitality and leisure fit-out projects * Estimating costs for projects ranging from £100,000 to £1 million * Managing all aspects of cost control and contract administration * Evaluating subcontractor quotes and negotiating favourable terms * Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery * Supporting the commercial team with project forecasts and reporting What We're Looking For: * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the construction industry, ideally with experience in fast-track fit-outs * Familiarity with pub and restaurant fit-out projects is a strong advantage * Excellent commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail * Dynamic, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude with a "can-do" mindset * Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines * Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field What We Offer: * Competitive salary between £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience * £6,000 car allowance * Holidays, pension, and company performance-based bonus * Opportunities for career development in a fast-growing company
