Job Title: Business Development Manager - Air Source Heat Pumps Location: Midlands Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance The Client Our client are the world's largest HVAC manufacturer and fastest-growing brand of HVAC and ASHP products in the UK, and in supporting further growth are looking to expand ther team in many of the key areas of their business. We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to drive forward our client's air source heat pump (ASHP) sector by generating new opportunities with direct installers, merchants and contractors whilst also supporting existing accounts. The Role of Business Development Manager This role will have a key focus on building relationships with new and existing client bases liaising with customers that spend £50k per annum to our £1m per annum. This person will have the full support of an applications team, order processing team, technical and training support as well as an award winning marketing team to give them all the resources necessary to be successful. Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager: Generating opportunities face-to-face, over the phone and via events to bring on new accounts with the ability to purchase air source heat pumps within an agreed period of time. Mapping out a region or industry to target with key customers and contacts with a goal of bringing on new business that purchase air source heat pumps. Attending pre-booked new business meetings. Account management - Build relationships with existing accounts to ensure they are receiving the best possible service, and increase account spend year-on-year. Speaking with installers, M&E businesses, FM's, Renewables businesses and more about Midea's winning solution. Identify and visit untapped markets or customers where Midea's products or services can add value. Present a weekly plan of activity which can be reviewed each Friday. Record all activity on a database that can be uploaded to our new CRM. Other activities as agreed with line manager not exclusive too but include being involved with training events and marketing campaigns. Person Specification Good technical understanding of the Air Source Heat Pump & the HVAC market including the Client's and competitor products. Comfortable and motivated to actively make outbound calls to win more business. Able to develop new business opportunities organically. Understanding of HVAC market trends and clients' changing needs. Excellent customer service skills, with strong and proven sales and negotiation abilities. Able to build, manage and review reports based on activity and sales success. Experience of submitting detailed customer business case proposals to line management. Experience working within Air Conditioning / HVAC / Air Source Heat Pump industry Experience of meeting and excelling against sales targets.
