Health & Safety/Compliance Lead

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK.   We’re representing the leading provider of Automotive training in the UK, who are on the lookout for a Health & Safety/Compliance Lead. This role is an initial 12 month FTC and will be working for one of the most well-known automotive brands in the world.  There is no need for this person to have worked within the training, or automotive industry. However, you will need to be an expert in all things health & safety, and ideally have an eye for data & compliance.   Role: Health & Safety/Compliance Lead Contract: 12 month fixed term contract with the view to extend Location: Hybrid working, with some 3 days office working in Reading Salary: £35,000 + extensive benefits   Purpose of role:  To control, review and drive compliance/ HSQE function and commercial initiatives to maximise the efficiency and profit of the BMW Academy contract   Top 4 Major Tasks and Activities: Manage the health and safety requirements for the Academy site including leading of H&S Committee and monitoring risk assessments Maintain Business Continuity Plan and IAMM related documents and raise awareness across the Academy Review all the monthly and quarterly reports of the performance of all business areas against budget and forecast, make recommendations and high risk as necessary Lead the aggregation and the analysis of all various KPI document to identify issues and opportunities   Additional Key Accountabilities: Ensure that all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported promptly Represent the Academy for compliance by attending business updates and complying with company policies Ensure completion of inspection documents and regular internal compliance audits, and generate reports of any maintenance issues   Key Outputs/Deliverables: Gold standard (> 95%) on H&S audit ISO9001 audit IAMM audit Academy and Babcock KPIs Supplier Report
