Senior Electrical Engineer

Our Client are a family business based in West Yorkshire with a reputation for exceptional product, innovation and industry leading standards & best in class technological prowess in the food sector. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Engineer to work day shifts undertaking both PPM and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced retail environment. 6am to 6pm shift pattern, average 38.5 hours per week About you: The ideal candidate will be 100% Electrical bias with a strong knowledge of machinery fault finding and installation work. Reporting directly to the Engineering Shift Supervisor you will be expected to undertake both PPM and reactive maintenance in a fast-paced retail environment. You will, in the absence of the Engineering Supervisor be expected to step up and manage the shift, managing your resources and ensuring any planned jobs or reactive maintenance is completed in a timely manner minimising downtime within the retail function. Role Responsibilities * Maintain all machinery to the standard expected within a food environment. * Continuous improvement of all production/packaging machinery * Decrease down time and increase productivity; by providing reactive and planned preventative maintenance and assisting with project work. * Cover electrical work in the main, however you will be asked to assist with mechanical tasks from time to time. * Reactive/Breakdown maintenance - Due to the nature of the business the work loads are split between breakdown maintenance (and covering production) 50%, planned preventative maintenance 30% and project work 20%. * Electrical control fault finding.
