Has experience in a fast-paced HR role will play a critical role in supporting the HR function, working closely with the HR Manager to drive the HR Strategy and develop HR documentation and policies.RewardMonday to Friday 9am -5.30pmTraining provided23 days holiday plus an option to buy or sell up to 5 extra days per yearFree parkingCompetitive contributory pension schemeHealth cash planShare save schemeDiscounts on products and servicesJob Role:Working with the HR Manager to monitor and review all HR policies, procedures and ensure that all personnel information,HR Systems are maintained and kept up to dateContributing to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiativesDocumenting and developing process flows to support the HR PoliciesResponding to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policy and procedureProviding advice and guidance on employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, sickness absence management including OHA referrals, investigation meetingsParticipating in performance management processes, including appraisalsSupport the HR Assistant to manage family-friendly queries and casesAssisting the HR & Payroll Administrator by maintaining the accuracy of payroll data and related records e.g., absences, bonuses, leaveEnsuring the casework trackers are kept up to date to maintain accurate reporting to the Board of DirectorsDeveloping the warehouse relationship, set up HR clinics, and participating in Operations meetingsSupporting the Legal & Compliance Team with Policies, the LMS, and Health and Safety, where applicable, and represent the HR teamWorking collaboratively with the existing HR Generalist to produce HR statisticsSupporting the development and administration of SharePointWorking with the HR team to manage the HR inboxCoordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performanceHelping drive the Recruitment Strategy and attract and retain top talentSupport the HR Assistant to review appraisal training requestsIn the absence of the HR Assistant, issue Study Agreement lettersMonitor sickness absence across the group, reporting trends and monthly sickness absence analytics to the HR ManagerSkills and experience:CIPD Level 5 qualificationExcellent organisational and administrative skillsAbility to prioritise own work ensuring that deadlines are metProven work experience as a HR GeneralistGood employment law knowledgeExcellent energy, confidence and drive to deliverCollaborative and pragmatic approach to workAbility to initiate and manage changeFlexible and adaptablePersonable with strong communication and relationship-building capabilities across all levels of the businessAbility to support and drive Company policies and culturePractical and logical; able to solve problems quicklyHands-on experience with HR systemsExperience working with Microsoft SharePoint and other Microsoft PackagesMinimum 3-5 Years HR Generalist experiencePlease Note: We do not contact or write to unsuccessful candidates.
