Are you a motivated and friendly individual with a passion for building relationships and generating leads? We are looking for a Lead Generation Executive to join our clients dynamic team in the utilities sector. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing B2B sales leads and converting them into successful sales through effective relationship management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate and develop B2B sales leads for SME and I&C projects.
  • Convert leads into sales through negotiation and relationship building.
  • Provide guidance and clarification to customers and service providers regarding timescales, industry processes, regulations, contracts, and designs.
  • Support the Head of Business Development in managing customer expectations and providing technical advice.
  • Drive the performance of service provider provisions by inputting data into company systems and producing management information (MI).
  • Administer quotations, network applications (gas, water, electricity), and manage customer communication and project management.
  • Maintain a healthy, safe, and environmentally sound workplace, adhering to HS&E procedures.
  • Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including phone calls, emails, scheduling appointments, and organising meetings.
  • Collaborate with clients, managers, service providers, and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in the utility industry, with knowledge of clients and competitors.
  • Proficiency in Glenigan or similar system, including the ability to set filters for searches and manage the system.
  • Background in construction or engineering, ideally with experience in both gas and electricity.
  • Ability to interpret designs and identify risks associated with gas or electricity.
  • Strong influencing skills to drive internal performance and that of service providers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a busy environment.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a commitment to learning and development.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen and strong organisational skills.
