New Senior Site Manager position in Chatham, Kent. The project: A new multi phased residential development incorporating traditional build houses and RC Frame apartments. The role: Reporting into a site based Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a phase of RC Frame apartments. Your role will involve but not be limited to: * Management of the master build programme * Preparation of short term programmes * Weekly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors * Progress reporting to the site based Project Manager on a weekly basis * Pre-start meetings with the relevant subcontractors * Overseeing Health & Safety on site and production of relevant reports * Liaise regularly with external bodies regarding development including Building Control, HSE, Utilities and Service providers and NHBC * Responsible for quality control, ensuring all units are completed to the required standard prior to NHBC inspection About you: * You will have gained circa 5+ years experience, ideally working for a Residential Developer * Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position (CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work) * Experience working on a similar scheme would be preferable, but not essential * Experience of controlling multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour * Strong organisational and time management skills
