We are looking for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join us on a part-time basis, working 05:30-14:30, either Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday of each week, on a flexible contract with the option of working more days if necessary.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced CPC qualified LGV driver to make an impact with our leading organisation.
With our flexible working provision and amazing development opportunities, this role will provide you with everything you need to thrive personally and professionally. We have two shift patterns available: either working on Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday on a week-by-week basis.
Whats more, this is a site-based role that does not require extensive travel!
The Role
As a Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will support operations at our clients Derby site by managing the movement of trailers.
Specifically, you will drive a TUG tractor unit and manoeuvre trailers throughout the site to ensure logistics operations are smooth and efficient.
Additionally, you will:
- Use a handheld device to get instructions for your workload
- Effectively communicate with the transport office
- Provide excellent customer service to our client
About You
To be considered as a Class 1 Shunter Driver you will need:
- An LGV Class 1 licence with a minimum of 12 months' commercial driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- A CPC Driver qualification
- A current Digital Tachograph Card
- Good working knowledge of working time regulations
- Flexibility around working hours to fit around the needs of the business
