Purpose

Responsible for maintenance and repair work on site. This is to ensure all site is maintained to the required standard and to support running of site. May move to a dual or multi-skilled role depending upon vacancies, training, competence and experience.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Raise relevant work permit requests, accept and follow the permit, isolation procedure and other related safe systems of work to complete the task. Complete and/or contribute to risk assessments associated with all maintenance duties expected for the role.

Identify and rectify failures in service, and equipment defects, related to your specific trade and subsequent training and development.

Complete scheduled maintenance as per the company maintenance plan to support the running of the production site.

Work to company standards and procedures to ensure maintenance tasks are executed to the required quality standard, with the goal of minimising impact on production and maximising plant availability.

Develop and review maintenance procedures to keep information accurate, complete and relevant.

Contribute to continuous improvement activities with the aim of improving safety, environmental, equipment availability and efficiency performance.

Undertake any other duties of which the responsibility, skill and experience required fall within a post holder’s expected capability and commensurate with the post holder’s position in the company.
