Import Seafreight Clerk - Hybrid Working

Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Import Seafreight person for a excellent Freight Forwarder. The role will be working on a hybrid basis of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home (remote). . Key responsibilities: * Handling Import Seafreight shipments (start to finish) * Assisting with cross trade shipments * To transpose customs declaration information from documents, and or other data sources into the customs brokerage system accurately * To build and maintain strong relationships * To be responsible for arranging and completing all associated paperwork * Ensuring all is in order in relation to import quotas, customs tariffs, trade agreements and HM Revenue and customs regulations * Being commercially aware of job costings and profitability, ensuring maximum profitability for the organisation * Ability to manage deadlines and sometimes difficult situations. * To ensure that all deliveries are arranged prior to vessel arrival at port, the same to be booked with hauliers. * To ensure that customs formalities are completed Benefits include:- * Hybrid working / 2 days per week in the office minimum * Discretionary annual bonus * 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays As an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight recruitment specialist.
