Electrical Maintenance Technician

The Recruitment Co. are delighted to be recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Industrial Client based in Kirkcaldy!! Salary: £43,000 per year. Contract: Permanent Shift Pattern: Mix of days, backs and nights (Monday to Friday) Shift times: Monday to Thursday, 6am to 2pm; 2pm to 10pm:; 10pm to 6am Friday 6am to 12pm; 12pm to 6pm; 6pm to 12am. Location: Kirkcaldy Your role as an Electrical Maintenance Technician… At all times, follow all health and safety regulations. Provide Maintenance support to each manufacturing department on a daily basis using good engineering practices. Implement PPM as needed throughout the facility. Provide regular upkeep on Site Services (compressed air systems). refrigeration plants, cooling towers, package boilers, hydraulic systems, and HPHW systems). Locate and fix electrical and mechanical defects, including PLC control systems. As needed, make modifications. Install, identify, and fix DC and AC drives. Participate in process optimisation initiatives aimed at lowering idle times and raising departmental productivity. What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Technician… Although not required, Compex certification would be advantageous. Having knowledge with HV systems would be beneficial. Necessary experience working in a production environment for heavy equipment.
