We're looking for a Maintenance Assistant and Mini Bus Driver to support our team at Claires Court School, helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our students and staff. The Role As a Maintenance Assistant and Mini Bus Driver, you will be integral to the smooth running of our school sites. Key Responsibilities: *    Monitor and respond to maintenance requests, performing minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry) *    Replace lighting, paint, and decorate; ensure drains and gutters are clear *    Test emergency lighting and alarms, reporting defects *    Maintain school grounds, ensuring a tidy and safe environment *    Move furniture and equipment for school events; assist with deliveries *    Maintain and prepare sports facilities (e.g., marking pitches) *    Transport pupils and staff between sites and maintain minibuses (if licensed) *    Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, reporting hazards and promoting safe practices Benefits: *    Company pension *    Supportive work environment with ongoing professional development *    Opportunity to gain new skills, including D1/PSV driver training *    Be part of a dynamic team in a school that values individual growth and teamwork About you: Our ideal candidate will be a reliable and professional team player with a hands-on approach to work.
