Support is determined by each pupil's particular needs and circumstances and are taught in a small group or given individual tuition. The staff works closely with parents and carers who together with the pupil are encouraged to be fully involved in any decision-making and provide a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. About you - PRU Teaching Assistant - Northampton, Northamptonshire Experience in UK primary/secondary/SEN/PRU schools SEN experience is desirable but not essential Good behaviour management and ability to tackle challenging behaviour Available full time The ability to adapt to the student's needs - every student comes from different backgrounds and have different needs so being transparent is essential! Good levels of communication and ability to speak with students, parents, staff, and external agencies.
