Financing Investment Senior Associate

THE FIRM Global mid-cap infrastructure fund with c.$18bn AUM. Investment mandate across energy sectors and other core plus infrastructure sectors. The team in London are looking to hire a Senior Associate to support the growing Financing function of the fund. THE ROLE You will be based in London, and will support on all debt financing related across greenfield project financings, refinancings and debt capital optimisations. Your key responsibilities will include: Contributing to the investment process by supporting and leading on all aspects of the debt financing and hedging work streams including financial analysis, due diligence, structuring, managing the debt advisor and legal docs negotiation Carrying out day-to-day financial analysis including financial modelling, analysing business forecasts, running scenario and sensitivities analyses and monitoring financing metrics of the existing assets Managing the refinancing processes and developing / implementing the capital structure optimisation strategies of the existing portfolio companies Supporting the management of debt facilities at fund level THE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have: Between 3-6 years’ experience in investment banking, debt advisory, leveraged finance or private debt fund Background in Infrastructure / Project Finance sectors is a direct advantage General understanding of corporate finance, private debt markets, debt instruments and various capital structures Strong technical skills including quantitative skills and financial modelling Keen passion for financial markets, debt and infrastructure financing sector Outstanding interpersonal abilities, with a readiness to engage in client interactions and thrive in a team environment Highly motivated and eager to take on responsibility from the junior level
