Warehouse Operative

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's busy distribution centre for general goods. Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Bedford. The rate of pay is: - Days £12.95 per hour - Nights £14.91 per hour. Overtime is available at this site. This is a full-time position, working 5 days out of 7 with rotational day shifts or fixed nights, the hours of work are: - Days (rotational weekly) - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm - Nights (fixed) - 10pm to 6am No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided. Your Time at Work As a Warehouse Operative at this site, your duties will include: - Picking items using an RF scanner - Loading and unloading lorries - Re-Work - Other general warehouse tasks - LLOPS Our Perfect Worker Our perfect Warehouse Operative will be: - Physically fit due to the nature of the job - Have good English communication - Basic numeracy and literacy skills - Be over 18 No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided. Warehouse Operatives should be comfortable with frequently lifting boxes weighing up to 25kg. Training will include the use of a pump truck, handheld tools, and MHE including LLOPS.
