JOB SUMMARY An exciting opportunity to work at one of one of East London's most renowned cocktailbars. Silverleaf is a multi-award winning/nominated bar just about to launch its highly anticipated 3rdannualmenu and is looking for talented members of staff to join as the bar continues to get busier. We dedicate over 40 hours a week to production behind the scenes of all of our drinks in our flavour lab with access to modern progressive equipment and techniques including fermentation, distillation, carbonation and clarification. Silverleaf uses an advanced new BOH system called Ethyl which records all of our homemade and batching specifications with full scaling capabilities with a full backlog of our development and classics, working with us gives you full access to this. Our relationship with suppliers allows us to fill our specially built whisky cabinet and tasting room Alba with some incredible liquids, including the Papi Van Winkle range, the BTAC collection, the Yamazaki 2022 special releases, several independent bottlers and great distilleries. Working as the Floor Supervisor, your main role will be maintaining high standards of service on the floor. You will liaise directly with security to make sure the guest entrance process is as smooth as possible. You will greet, host and seat guests as well as taking and delivering orders. You will be able to explain the menu to guests and staff. You will make sure the team is fully trained on greeting, hosting, seating and taking and delivering orders. You will work directly with the GM and assistant manager to make sure trainings and SOPs are implemented to ensure consistency of service. ROLE OVERVIEW: Maintaining high levels of service on the floor at Silverleaf Liaise with security to streamline the guest entrance process Greet, seat and host guests, take and deliver orders Explain the menu and answer any questions related to it Train the team and implement SOPs to maintain consistently high levels of service Support the GM and assistant manager in maximising income potential and controlling overheads Be manager on duty when required, managing the cash up, guest complaints, maintaining the atmosphere and overseeing a shift.
