Bid Manager - Water

Location: Leicestershire

Salary: 45,000 - 60,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus full lifestyle package

Are you a strategic and results-driven Bid Manager with a passion for the water industry? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and lead the development of winning bids for water infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the water sector.
  • Develop and manage bid strategies, including proposal development, pricing, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals accurately reflect project requirements and capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate bid performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in bid management within the water industry.
  • Strong understanding of the construction and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and project management tools.
