We are looking for a Commercial Emergency Response & Process Course Deliverer & Developer to join us here at TTE Training.

The purpose of the job:

To develop and deliver TTE s Emergency Response Course (by writing and developing, teaching, training and holistic assessment methods) and any other process courses, either accredited or bespoke, as requested by stakeholders. To support with commercial process NVQ s as required.

Environment/ Context:

The job holder must work effectively as a member of the Commercial Team to deliver training in accordance with TTE's delivery expectations, the requirements of its customers, and in line with any awarding body requirements if applicable. There will be a requirement to build and develop a course library which may include the need to visit sites to carry out training needs analysis activities. The job holder must ensure that H&S standards are adhered to in line with company policy and legal requirements.

Accountabilities of the job:

To study and train to the standard required to deliver (teach, train and assess candidates) against TTE s Emergency Response Course.

To build a course library of scenarios for other companies to enable a comprehensive roll out of the ERT course.

To provide a technical support role to employers looking to bridge process skills gaps in the form of a training needs analysis service.

To deliver other process courses, develop new bespoke courses, and build a course library of accredited and TTE certificated courses for offer to employers.

To carry out day to day duties/works associated with successful course delivery: setting up rooms and systems, liaising with the commercial team, answering technical queries etc.

To help maintain workshop/classroom consumable items/ stock levels.

To assess commercial process NVQ s if required (Training will be provided).

To complete necessary paperwork and update controlled documents in an accurate and organised fashion.

To update course delivery as required to reflect technical changes, ensuring accuracy of course material delivered to candidates.

To maintain best possible relations with colleagues, clients, and companies.

To adhere to the requirements of TTE's staff handbook.

To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and scope of the role as may be reasonably requested.

Main contacts:

In your role you will be expected to collaborate with the Commercial Manager & Team, Course Delegates, Customers, TSC Simulations and TTE Staff to achieve your results.

Skills:

  • Apprentice/time served Process Operator (Required).
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent (Required).
  • Major incident management experience (Preferred).
  • Training & Delivery experience (Preferred).
  • The ability to deliver across the range of required units to meet the course framework and objectives (Required).
  • The ability to assess to awarding body standards (Preferred).
  • The ability to compile training materials (Required).
  • Excellent IT skills (Required).
  • Excellent interpersonal/ communication skills (Required).
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to check work (Required).
  • Self-motivated; able to work under own initiative and without supervision (Required).
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure required tasks are monitored and prioritised (Required).
  • Ability to coach and influence a range of audiences effectively (Required).
  • Excellent decision-making skills (Preferred).
  • Ability to work under pressure and to be flexible when required (Required).

Performance indicators:

  • Successful training and delivery of the ERT course in line with TSC Simulations.
  • Maintenance of up to date, accurate paperwork.
  • Delivery of accurate, up to date information to candidates.
  • Excellent feedback from course delegates.
  • Timely completions.
