Machine Learning Scientist London £65,000-£80,000We're partnering with an AI-focused start-up in the transport space. They're looking for a Machine Learning Scientist to join their existing team of 15 technical experts to work on projects using simulation and optimisation techniques, as well as machine learning. THE ROLEAs Machine Learning Scientist for the business you will:Use simulation techniques to understand the network in real-time and offer recommendations for real-time interventionsOptimisation on resource allocationUse of predictive modelling and deep learning techniques for various other projects with the aim of improving efficiency in the networkTake projects from ideation through to deployment and have the ability to work autonomouslySKILLS AND EXPERIENCEMaster's or PhD in a relevant subject preferably in Operational Research / Maths / Statistics / PhysicsStrong commercial experience as a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer working on projects end-to-endExperience working with simulation and/or optimisationExperience working in a start-up or a desire to do soGood communication skillsTech: Python, SQL, Cloud technologySALARY AND BENEFITSBasic salary £65,000-£80,000London office required in the office Mondays and WednesdaysWider Benefits packageHOW TO APPLYPlease register your interest for this role by sending your CV to Rosie O'Callaghan via the apply link on this page
